Siviwe is an Associate at NSDV Law in the Corporate and Commercial team. He completed his LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2018, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and subsequently completed his articles at ENSafrica in 2021.

Siviwe is currently pursuing his Master of Law (LLM) with the University of the Witwatersrand on Corporate Law.

Siviwe focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general commercial transactions, and company law matters across various sectors, including mining, agriculture, property development, energy, and banking.

He has acted for a broad range of local and international clients, both listed and unlisted, within these industries.

Siviwe’s experience includes:

• Conducting legal advisory work, including drafting opinions, on corporate commercial and company law matters, as well as the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 and its Regulations;

• Assisting both local and international clients with company secretarial services, including company registration, director changes, and filing annual returns;

• Leading and assisting clients in conducting due diligence investigations;

• Drafting and reviewing various agreements, including: Shareholders’ agreements; sale of business agreements; asset-for-share agreements; sale of shares agreements; memoranda of incorporation; subscription agreements; service level, supply, and distribution agreements; board and shareholders’ resolutions; legal opinions
