The Head of our Construction team, Cameron, is a highly regarded industry expert and provides training on construction contracts to industry professionals, such as engineers, quantity surveyors and project managers in conjunction with Alusani Skills & Training Network. Cameron is also a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC and available for appointment as an Adjudicator or Arbitrator.

His knowledge and expertise are directly transferred to the rest of the Construction team, so clients can rest assured that the team are suitably, and highly qualified to assist them with their construction projects and disputes.

Samantha Reyneke

Samantha is a general commercial litigator, particularly within the realms of disputes arising from construction and engineering, business rescue, and product liability.

She is an expert in JBCC contracts and provides training on the JBCC, GCC and FIDIC contracts to industry professionals in conjunction with Alusani Skills & Training Network. Samantha is a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC and available for appointment as an Adjudicator or Arbitrator and is a member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC’s management committee.

Methembeni (Mett) has practised Mining Law in Zimbabwe and Construction Law in South Africa and has extensive cross-border and African commercial transaction experience. Mett typically acts for major and junior miners, exploration companies, construction employers and contractors, and has experience working on complex and high-value adjudications and arbitrations arising out of FIDIC, NEC3, and bespoke construction and engineering contracts.

Michael Grinaker

Michael is an Associate in the NSDV Law construction, litigation and dispute resolution team. He has specialised in the NEC suite of construction contracts and has gained experience assisting clients in the day-to-day commercial management of these contracts.

Reneilwe Ramoleta

Associate Designate:

Reneilwe Ramoleta is an Associate Designate in the NSDV Construction Law team, with a great interest in both these areas of law. She completed her LLB at the University of Limpopo in 2021, after which she had the opportunity to attend a vacation work programme at NSDV Law in December 2021.

During this time she had rotations within the Environmental, Mining, and Construction Law Departments, and gained the practical experience of working at a law firm prior to commencing the position of candidate attorney. Reneilwe is now a 2nd year CA.

Vanessa Stander

Vanessa is an Associate in the NSDV Construction law team. She obtained her LLB cum laude in 2022.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, she worked at an asset finance company in the Legal Recoveries department where she gained valuable experience in debt recovery, repossessions, liquidations, business rescue proceedings, and debtor management.
